Approved Log From shit to fit my Training Log

You don’t need more than 1g/lb and if carbs are really high you can even drop actual protein down even more. At one point I was eating 200g of carbs a meal and only 4oz of actual protein. The rest of my protein was coming from indirect sources. My goal was to add the carbs and all other food then make the meal equal 40g of protein on high

No, I don’t. I feel like they’re a waste of time and money imo. I use digestive bitters, betaine hcl with pepsin, 30g of glutamine and greens powder with fiber.

It may not be true but Justin Harris puts more size on guys than pretty much any other coach in the game and he’s not a high protein guy at all.

When we worked together my meals on high days would only be 40g of total protein including trace proteins from carbs. When I got up to 200g of carbs a meal my actual protein was only like 4oz a meal bc the rest of the 40g comes from the trace proteins in the carbs.

All you need is some protein intake every 2-3 hrs across the day so you constantly have aminos in your blood stream for when your body is ready to grow muscle. I believe Justin said you only need to convert something like 5g a day of protein to muscle to gain 20lbs of tissue a yr and we’re eating 250+ a day consistently. I seriously doubt we need to be overly concerned with protein intake.

@Jfrost89 I think its a give and take bro
some guys with amazing genetics like you can pull off lower protein and grow
but majority of guys 90%+ need high protein to grow
I've coached a lot of guys and mostly high protein is true growth
 
Fasted Abs, calves, cardio.

Drink - 1 scoop of hydration powder, 5g EAAs, 5g creatine, 10g glutamine

Fasted weight - 269lbs

This is why I don’t eat cheat meals. Left 276lbs I had 2 free meals and 1 high day in 3 days plus added back in some real gh. I expected 5-7lbs of fluid from switching gh but not 16lbs. 3 days later post low day 258lbs on the right.
