Hi everyone, I'm struggling to improve the way i want in the weight room. I weight 165 pounds and can only bench 200 pounds as much as I try for example. my squat isn't much better. would you recommend I hire a personal trainer to help me? it costs $50 an hour at my gym. or would i be better off just following a 5X5 program. I am 27 years old. I looked at vids online but no motivation even after 20 youtube videos lol.
