    Get a spotter. Lol. I don't do max weight but go to failure on about 80% of my max weight so I'm not well versed on going big but.....probably universal to lock out on your reps to get that stretch and get a warm up. Everyone is different so try different stuff and see what works for you...

    Agree 25homes. Reminds me I need to work in those front squats. Slow and controlled, don't need heavy weight. No weight belt so your core is working. (Practice good form and warm up with just bar) Box squats always seem to hit deeper for me.
