I'm in Montreal and I ordered supplements online that shipped in from the United States and I got charged $120 in custom fees. It's been five years since this happened. Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this and if it's just a fluke or will this continue because it will change the way I order from now on
You can get custom fees charges locally, that's your Canadian taxes usually nothing to do with the shipper.

It is normal, more and more Countries started to collect taxes for online purchases, your only option is to ask shipper to reduce cost of product when he fills in customs form. This way you will reduce total cost and therefore duty fees. Most times they charge if product cost above $100, so always go under

Different countries have different rules....you have to keep a check before buying.....

I have it happen twice in the last 10 years. It is a random charge. Although for me it was closer to $20, not nearly as much as yours.

And I am both Canadian and American so I stick to the facts.
We ship my brand all over Canada and this rarely happens for small packs from what I can tell.
