Secondary Polycythemia Complications - Extended Report

I think really hard to understand without knowing what you were doing, @ts06
dont even know what you eating now? like what you doing now with this situation?
I'm always praying for you bro :) anabolex family here for you
I'm currently on a no fat, low carb mediterranean diet. With zero sugar. Mainly consists of Egg Whites (no yolk), oats, cinnamon, I am allowed to eat blueberries or half an apple. The rest is spinach, broccoli, green beans, kale, asparagus. garlic, tumeric, ginger, with fish. Mainly salmon & cod. I am allowed to eat tilipia, tuna, and orange roughy but mainly salmon. unsalted nuts/seeds. No red meat allowed currently. I can have chicken once a day. I'm not allowed to currently go a certain amount of protein as it can add more stress to liver. That's pretty much it. No dairy, at all. But it's 3 very small meals per day worked around 3 varied nuts in between meals.

I don't understand what your next question is about"what I'm doing now" I'll assume it's for the diagnosis and has nothing to do with diet or bodybuilding. but I'm under specialists care and I'm currently laying in a hospital bed. I'm not allowed to lift, but I am encouraged to do 15 minutes of light cardio every morning to help with the movement of my blood.

Supplementation consists of Vitamin K2, CoQ10, and (8) fish oils per day, 5mg of taladafil (not for ED, but for helping with blood movement), also was given a recommended liver detox that consists of a conjection of minerals, and I'm now on a drip for iron infusion. I have to be monitored while on iron, as my blood is already very thick. After my Iron is under control, there is a high likelihood I am prescribed a short term statin to help with any of the excess cholesterol.

My diet before hand, I really don't want to go into detail. I didn't eat like crap, but I wasn't watching really what I ate either. Again. we're talking 3-5 years here, not a 3 month log. I'd have great stretches of eating great, maybe a few weeks of qdoba, going out with the family, etc. But to say I was smashing down oreos, ice cream, pizza is a definite no.

Again, I can't be anymore clear that this isn't something food could have really protected or predicted. It was Testosterone Induced Polycythemia. I never abused it, it just took 3 years of being a little to high (900s) for this to happen. I went years of donating blood, losing iron, losing Ferritin and doing so much damage through these methods of fighting the polycythemia the way "we hear about on the the internet" and "bro science" that is has nearly killed me. I want to stress to everybody here, I am under some of the best doctors in Indianapolis's care. I have an amazing hematologist monitoring me. This has absolutely nothing to do about a "log" or a specific "diet" or any of that. This is and was strictly testosterone induced polycythemia.

I'm not trying to be mean or come at anybody sideways, I'm just trying to educate you all while I'm the one paying close to $30,000 at this point for medical care from top physicians. Please get out of your head that a diet could have prevented this. Please get out of your head thinking my sharing some 3 month diet log could have prevented this. This has nothing to do with bodybuilding, a diet, etc. This has everything to do with the fact that Testosterone effects all of us differently. The genes, receptors. and everything can mutate. One thing my hematologist taught me about was bio-identical testosterone.

I have ZERO iron in my body. I've been avoiding iron due to the Polycythemia, but my due to donating so much - I had an Iron Saturation level of 2 (13-45%), Ferritin levels of 7 (30-400ng/dl), resulting in unsaturated IBC 361 (112-347).
@ts06 after reading your post in deep detail, seems very clear you donated too much blood. If you had asked us before, we would tell you even if you have high RBC dont donate more than 1x/year and eat a lot of red meat as well. I think this is NOT testosterone related but rather you overdonating and losing too much blood imo.

Fast forward years of donating double red blood cells, high hemoglobin, high hematocrit - I wasn't feeling better anymore. Every 3 months, even after Double RBC donation, my hemoglobin would spike back to 18.3-18.7.
Thats very bad! you donated double RBC every 3 months, this explain many thing.

As I lay here in a hospital bed, contemplating your response with some (2) of the best doctors in their field diagnosing me, to some guy on the internet diagnosing me telling me that (2) doctors and this entire medical team while I'm being hospitalized to tell me they are all wrong - is absolutely mind blowing to me.

The very fact that you are a moderator here actually scares the hell out of me. There are so many people here looking for advice and the fact I come here, hospitalized, under extreme supervision by medical teams, (2) speciality doctors because I am/was literally on the brink of death because TRT scorched my hemoglobin, hematocrit, to the point I developed secondary polycythemia and then the polycythemia has wrecked my body for you to sit here and tell me and people on a public board medical advice - you give this board a horrific name.

The fact that a post like this can even be made by a mod, means this will be my last post in this forum ever.

I wish everybody luck and please take all of my advice to heart,

you're saying the constant blood donations had no role in your condition? @ts06
I highly doubt it bro
